TEXAS NATIVE! Larval host for Monarch Butterflies. Important native milkweed along the I-35 corridor. White flowers are in an umbel and bloom from April to September, followed by seed pods. Ovate, dark green leaves and tuberose stems. Found in deeper soils. Full sun and low water. 12”- 24” tall. Zones 3-9.
