TEXAS NATIVE! Distinctive star-shaped, crimson red flowers June through October. Multi-branched stems, turning dark green to purplish in the sun adding extra aesthetic appeal, die back in the winter, but reemerge in Spring. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Full sun to part shade. Moist, well-drained soil. 4-7ft tall and 2-3ft wide. Zone 6-10.
